THE COACHING PROCESS

Coaching is kinda magical. And deeply creative!

It meets you where you are and helps you get where you want to go—even if “where you want to go” is currently just “literally anywhere but here.” The benefits unfold in layers, often starting with clarity and deepening into something much bigger: actually recognizing yourself in your own life again.

Each session is a confidential, judgment-free container where you can say the thing you’ve been afraid to admit out loud—the thing that sounds ungrateful or dramatic or like it doesn’t make sense given how good it looks on paper—and be met with curiosity, not advice you didn’t ask for.

WHAT WE’LL DO TOGETHER

① Set the Focus
What do you actually want to walk away with? Not what sounds good in theory—what do you need right now? We’ll name it. You’ll set a big goal for our work together, and smaller, non-terrifying experiments at each session along the way.

② Explore Deeply
We untangle your thoughts, name what’s true underneath the performance, and identify what’s actually in the way (spoiler: it’s usually not what you think). Exploration can happen through conversation, or visually in a FigJam if you’re the kind of person who thinks better with boxes and arrows. No limits.

③ Shift the Lens
I offer reflections, intuitive questions, and gently challenge the assumptions you’ve been operating on since 2019. Sometimes I’ll pull out Brian Eno’s Oblique Strategies deck and we’ll play with divination-style spreads that somehow always land exactly right. (If that’s not your thing, we won’t. But it’s weirdly effective.)

④ Make it Real
We define clear, values-aligned action steps—no fluff, no “just manifest it and the universe will provide” energy. Actual experiments you can run in your actual life. And I’ll hold you accountable in the kind way, not the “did you do your homework?” way.

Between Sessions:
You’ll implement, reflect, and keep the momentum going. I’m available for quick check-ins, gentle nudges, and the occasional “is this normal or am I spiraling?” text when you need it.
NASCENT SPIRAL is devoted to creative aliveness

Site Full Video: Powers of Ten™ (1977)

Coaching, like Powers of Ten, is an adventure in perspective. This short film by Charles and Ray Eames zooms out by powers of ten, shifting our view from a picnic in Chicago to the outer edges of the cosmos—and then back in, all the way to a single proton. It’s a perfect metaphor for the coaching process: expanding and contracting our lens, discovering new patterns, and seeing the familiar in new ways.
